I learnt about the transformative power of hypnotherapy many years ago when I did my first NLP practitioner training. But it was only when I witnessed the dramatic impact of Hypnotherapy on a family members' life that I decided to train to become a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Initially I was surprised at the change hypnotherapy facilitated for people in my case studies and my initial clients; but now I am just happy that when I hear about how my clients lives have changed for the better.
Hypnotherapy can address a number of different issues. No matter what you initially want change with, there is almost always something underlying which needs addressing. I work with you as an individual, so we deepen our work with each session and the shifts you make are supported and sustained as you continue through life. I work with a minimum of four sessions. If, however, you really feel that you have made all the change you need in fewer sessions we can discuss that and I will reduce my fee.
Anxious thoughts and feelings can often become deeply ingrained in the unconscious mind, so sometimes we are not even aware of what is triggering anxiety. Hypnotherapy accesses the unconscious mind so we can identify and deal with your root cause of anxiety.
Chronic pain is not straightforward, but research shows that Hypnotherapy can alter the way that pain is processed in the brain and spinal cord. Hypnotherapy can decrease activity in areas of the brain involved in pain processing and can mediate chronic pain.
Often your conscious mind knows that your phobia is irrational. However, there is a part of the unconscious mind that is trying to keep you safe. We can access that part with hypnotherapy and create safety in a more life-enhancing way.
Hypnotherapy informed with mindfulness and compassion can be transformative. Learning to integrate self-compassion, and acceptance are foundational in the way I work with health challenges. Acceptance in this context is definitely not giving in - but involves facing what is presented in the body and working with our emotional and cognitive responses to it. Certain health conditions can be alleviated, but hypnotherapy is well-suited to addressing the complexities that arise from health conditions.

This approach is ideally suited to transforming your relationship to your health and your body. It does, of course, require you to be willing to make healthy changes.
